If there’s one thing I love more than weddings is the basic celebration of LOVE itself. After the wedding is when the real work comes in and sometimes the first few years of marriage can be tough. Well let’s face it…it WILL be tough. When Martania of Crazy Beautiful Weddings approached me about sharing her anniversary shoot I was so happy as a goal for 2016 is to share more lifestyle content and images with you guys. But more importantly I’m loving the words of reflection from Martania on her 1st year in marriage.
From the Bride:
I remember when we were dating I knew I loved him deeply. We were on the same page and we were eager to grow in our love. We have spent our time getting to know each other well. The first year of marriage has been full of ups and downs; there really has been no other year like it for us as newlyweds. Our personalities could not be more different, our strengthens and weaknesses could not be more opposite, yet through it all, we are helping each other grow. Surprisingly, our differences have brought us close together, yet they have led us to argue, but at the same time, they have revealed things in ourselves that we may have missed had we never said yes to our relationship. Being married has truly helped me grow into the woman I am today. And God continues to use us and the friction of our differences to shape our character…and I could not be more thankful!I love my husband, forever and for always. As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. – Proverbs 27:17
