You ever look at a couple’s pictures and you can tell they just had a sense of peace and calmness the whole day? That’s the feeling I got when reviewing Areial & Marcus’s pictures from their wedding day. Ironically, ‘calm’ was the word she chose as well to describe the morning of her wedding. It was as if it was just the two of them the whole day and nobody else mattered. The genius behind the lens on this day was Omari from Jazzy Mae Photography. I’ve been following Omari’s work on my Instagram page for forever and it’s a pleasure to share this wedding and his talent today!
From the Bride:
“The actual wedding day, I was so surprised I was calm throughout the morning. I was able to eat and enjoy some time with my bridesmaids. Unbeknownst to me during hair and make-up my wedding planner was on the hunt for the flower delivery and other little fires that needed to be put out. After the flowers were finally found at the front desk ( go figure) we were able to begin with pictures. I was so against the first-look shots, but my planner, photographer, and decorator all convinced me to change my mind. OMG the best decision ever made, the anticipation, high strung nerves are out the door when you both have that private moment together and to see each other as soon to be husband and wife your heart melts over and you fall in love all over again. I believe the love and energy between us was what allowed our photographer to get so many beautiful shots and create such an artistic vision for our wedding day. Oh yeah the wedding ceremony, was absolutely gorgeous my nerves did return since I was for real going down the aisle. My father was literally my crutch I was shaking the whole time. Once he gave me away and my husband linked arm and arm with me I knew everything was going to be ok. After our vows and I do’s the time magically spend up. After all the traditional events dances, garter toss, cake cutting, the party cranked up and I don’t remember sitting down until the end of the night 🙂 Overall to sum up our day it was so magical and surpassed both our imaginations of what our day will be like. “
