Boy, oh boy!! I am over the moon excited about today’s feature. It’s what happens when you decide upon a theme and you stick with it. The bride Tyra incorporated her deep love for theater and the arts into her Gone With the Wind inspired wedding to Ron. From the dress to the venue to the cake you see many aspects from the classic movie woven into their big day. Take a look below and be inspired!
From the Photographer:
Tyra is a gorgeous bride with a deep love of history, theater and art. Her passion is reflected in her custom made, historically accurate, 1860’s “Gone With The Wind” era wedding dress, as well as her choice of Victorian shoes. Yankee Hall Plantation is the perfect venue to showcase their love with room filled with gorgeous antiques and spiraling staircases. Their ceremony takes place under the stunning live oaks on the grounds and is adorned in colors of soft blue and yellow. Choosing to celebrate with just their close family and friends it is an intimate gathering of around 50 guests. The grand ballroom is where the reception takes place under the breathtaking renaissance style painted ceiling. We are surrounded by opulent chandeliers and enormous windows to illuminate the ballroom. With a more non-traditional timeline the couple entertains their guests with dinner and dancing until around 6pm when the couple makes their grand exit through the main doors into a colorful cloud of bubbles!”
