I honestly can NOT believe that Thanksgiving is upon us already. 2015 is pretty much a wrap guys! As we prepare to spend time with friends and family for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, I’ve rounded up some awesome cocktails to share with you. Actually, these will also work for a signature cocktail for your fall/winter wedding as well.
Hard Cider Sangria

1 cup quartered and thinly sliced unpeeled green,
yellow and red apples
1 navel orange—quartered and thinly sliced crosswise
1 cup apple juice
chilled2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup apple brandy
One 22-ounce bottle hard apple cider, chilled
In a pitcher, combine the apples with the orange, apple juice, lemon juice and brandy. Just before serving, add the hard cider. Serve in tall glasses over ice.
Apple Cider Mimosas

Gold & silver sprinkles for rim of glass (optional)
Apple slices for garnish (optional)
Dip the top of each champagne glass into water and then dip in the sprinkles to coat.
Pour each champagne glass ½-3/4 full with apple cider.
Top with champagne
Smirnoff Vanilla Escape

1.5 oz. Smirnoff® Vanilla Flavored Vodka
2 oz.pineapple juice
0.25 oz. sour mix
0.25 oz. raspberry liqueur
1 wedge(s) pineapple(s)
Build in a Collins glass over ice.
Drizzle the raspberry liqueur over the top.
Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
Captain Morgan Black Wild Ginger

0.75 oz. Captain Morgan® Black Spiced Rum
1.5 oz. dry white wine
2 splash(es) pineapple juice
1 splash(es) sour mix
1 top(s) ginger ale
2 slice(s) orange(s)
3 slice(s) lemon(s)
5 leaves mint
Chill all ingredients.
In a mixing glass, crush the fresh fruit to extract the juices.
Add CAPTAIN MORGAN® Black Spiced Rum, wine, pineapple juice, sour mix and ginger ale
Add ice and stir.
Pour into wine glasses with piece of fruit and a sprig of mint.
Holiday Citrus Punch

2 cups bottled pear nectar
4 cups orange juice
2 cups chilled club soda
1 cup light rum (if desired)
Orange slices (for garnish)
Set a fine-mesh sieve over a large pitcher or punch bowl; pour 2 cups bottled pear nectar and 4 cups orange juice (from blood oranges or regular juice oranges) through sieve into pitcher. Before serving, stir in 2 cups chilled club soda and, if desired, 1 cup light rum. Pour into glasses over ice; garnish with orange slices.
