Hello beautiful people!! Ever wonder if those dating sites actually work? Well today we have a success story! Aja & Shukree met on the online dating site, E-Harmony and after exchanging emails they went on their first date. The couple married in the church that Aja grew up in which was extremely important to her. Shout out to Michelle, from Under Grace Photo for capturing such a pretty wedding!
From the Bride:
“Everything about our day was great, but we are partial to our actual wedding ceremony (which took place in the church that I grew up in). It was very special to laugh, cry, recite our vows, and (literally) jump the broom in front of our family and friends. It also set the tone for the great celebration that was to follow! We held our wedding reception at the Laclede Pavilion in Forest Park (original built in 1892 as a trolley car shelter). The history of the building, along with the indoor / outdoor space, gave us the idea to create a (sort of) modern world’s fair. The bridal party arrived at the venue via trolley, we used over sized balloons with tassels to decorate the outdoor and bar area, hung parasols from dance floor, and treated our guests to themed bars featuring kettle corn, Ted Drewes frozen custard and cigars. We then tied everything together through color, with light coral and lots of metallic and glittery gold.”
