Happy Monday, beautiful people!! I’m excited to feature today’s engagement couple as they are the bride to be is the little sister to Atlanta make up artist, Rhonda from Faces by Rhonda. Courtney tagged us in her pics on Instagram and I immediately requested for her to send over the full shoot! Courtney & her fiance’ D’Arcy met while in college and eventually reunited to rekindle their flame. They met up with Sam Jasper Photography at the Goat Farm which is in the very artsy West Midtown area of Atlanta.
From the Bride:
D’Arcy proposed to me on April 11, 2015. He surprised me to a romantic dinner at our favorite restaurant BrickTops in Atlanta. D’Arcy requested a special table he and I sat at on our first date. They met in 2009 at Miles College in Birmingham, AL. In 2012, Courtney and I rekindled in Atlanta. We began dating and now we will be getting married on September 24, 2016 in Atlanta, GA. For our engagment shoot, we wanted a vintage, rustic theme so our wonderful photographer Sam Jasper, found a beautiful venue for our shoot. The Goat Farm is a small museum located near the city of Atlanta. For our dressy portraits, I wanted to do an after 7 look on the 17th street bridge overlooking the city of Atlanta.”
From the Photographer:
It was a rainy day, but Courtney and D’Arcy were in excellent spirits. We had to reschedule their session several times prior because of rain, but we were determined to make it happen this time. We started at the Goat Farm in Atlanta. It’s a pretty unique place to have engagement photos. There are a lot of art pieces and a lot of places to get great shots. It fit their rustic and fun loving style. We ending up at 17th St bridge to get some amazing views of Atlanta’s lively skyline. Courtney and D’arcy are some of the sweetest people I’ve met. And they are so in love. I loved photographing their personalities, with all of the giggles and smiles. They are truly an amazing couple and I can’t wait for their wedding later this year. “
