Sherenne & Kimani are pretty much high school sweethearts, having met during summer school for a chemistry class. The love birds had first date at Frankie Pesto’s, an Italian eatery in Kingston, Ontario and they chose to go back to that location for their engagement shoot. See their loving session below and be inspired!
From the Photographer:
“Kimani and Sherenne took the engagement photos at the same spot where they had their first date in Kingston Ontario in 2002. They relived the fond memories of their road trip to Kingston and held hands all throughout. Frankie Pesto, one of Kingston’s best Italian restaurants, was the same spot where they had dinner all those years ago. So it was only fitting to continue with tradition as they enjoy their engagement. It will be a beautiful celebration day when they say “I do” in St. Lucia next year.”
How we met from the bride-to-be:
“We’re both hard working individuals who are tagged up together as a humble, happy and an outgoing couple. We have known each other for 17 years. It was the summer of 1998 where we met in summer school for chemistry. Little did we know at that time that there was a great future for the both of us together. Our first date was in 2002 where we went on a road trip to Kingston Ontario. The walk on the boardwalk and the rocks on the shore was quite the memory. Later on, we had some excellent pasta at Frankie’s Pesto. Fun times!! How did you propose? We were watching a movie in our living room with dinner and wine. I got up and ran downstairs to get the ring. (she had absolutely no idea I had a ring to begin with). I came back upstairs. Sherenne : Kimani, what is that??As I got on my left knee, and opened the box to present the ring, I responded “Sherenne, will you marry me? “Before I got an answer, Sherenne sacked me into the living room wall with joy in all (and I do mean all) of her spirit Then 5 minutes later she said yes. What things do you love the most about her?I love her compassion and outgoing nature. Her love for God and being a gift from God.What things do you love the most about him? I love his ambition and his tenacity. His sense of humor and kind heart is a serious part of what has drawn me to him.”
