The idea of a big wedding might be just what the doctor ordered for some brides while for others it may prove to be an overwhelming task. Some people opt for a small more intimate wedding or maybe even an elopement. The great thing about planning your big day is you make it about you and your personality. So there is no right or wrong here. Aline & Andrew met through mutual friends and then fell in love. When the time came they decided for a small wedding with only close family and friends.Their big day was captured by Maryland based photographer, Daysy Photography. I love how they kept it simple and just about them and with the right photographer their love story was captured effortlessly.
From the Photographer:
“Aline & Andrew where introduced by common friends, and after they had the chance to know each other as friends, they started to fall in love, and it didn’t take too long for the both of them to find out they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.
Andrew proposed to Aline and made her heart melt! She said YES and they decided to tie the knot in a very simple and intimate way, and have only immediate family as their witness.
The one thing they wanted to have the most, was a good photographer to make the most out of this very special day.
I feel very honored to be the person who helped them to write their history. It was a magical day. We were not in a rush, just enjoying the moment the way it was. I could capture their emotion and tears of joy. They are a young couple full of love and joy, playful and funny to be around. Kisses and cuddles could turn into laughs in a moment, and the perfect picture was captured!
There’s lots of great things about the smaller ceremonies. All that intimacy gets easily translated into beautiful pictures. Something I always tell everyone who’s getting married: don’t matter the size of your wedding, this won’t translate the size of your feelings. But it does matter the photography choice you make, because it can be remembered inside of your disc because you don’t bother to see your images, or it could end on top of your table coffee in a beautiful wedding album or as a wall art. Wedding size, don’t worry too much about it. But Photography choice will be the only thing left for your family and the generations to come!
Thanks Aline & Andrew, I’m happy to be part of your house decoration 🙂 “
