On March 2, I had the opportunity to attend the 1st ever Castleberry Hill Bridal Stroll here in Atlanta. Brides, grooms to be, family & friends were able to stroll through historic Castleberry Hill on a guided tour and partake in exclusive venues, food tastings, fashion and more. This one of a kind event was coordinated by Wine Shoe Weddings , an urban loft space for the chic bride; For Wineauxs Only, a wine tasting event company & Event Passion, a wedding and event planning company. With the weather so up and down here it was definitely a great day to mix and mingle with some great people. I’m very familiar with this area as I had lived there when they were just building it up and was excited to be back and see what it had become.
The tour started at Wine Shoe Atlanta, a wine specialty shop and tasting room that also specializes in wine tastings and small parties. We were greeted by Nora, one of the owners who didn’t hesitant to give us a drink (hee, hee.) and discus the history of the Wine Shoe and how it could work for brides. The Wine Shoe partners with The Wiley on doing events, it’s a great option for someone who wants a small, unique wedding. We’ll discuss more on The Wiley later.
After the wine tastings we headed over to Nadia’s Studio & Gallery, where the owner Nadia graciously gave us a tour of salon & spa. Nadia’s salon specializes in hair styling but that’s just the beginning. The chic salon is also available for make-up, spa services as well as girl’s day out & bridal parties.
Next we headed next door to the Besharat Art Gallery. Keeping with the unique and eclectic feel of the tour, the gallery did not disappoint. As a lover of art and great pieces I was definitely intrigued by this place.
We then walked a bit around the corner to our next stop, No Mas! Cantina. No Mas (as we call it here in Atlanta) aims to deliver the best of your Mexican favorites specialties. But what some people don’t know is part of the location is available for hosting bridal soiree’s, engagements parties as well as weddings or rehearsal dinners. The manager, Felicia gave us a tour which included visiting the No Mas store which showcased a wonderful collection of jewelry, purses and even furniture. Did you know you could even use No Mas as part of your bridal registry??
The Wiley is where the tour showcased a hand picked select number of vendors to display their work! There were cake tastings, candy bars, & even a DJ! Not only that The Wiley makes for a perfect space for someone who is looking for an intimate wedding and you can work with the Wine Shoe (right around the corner) for your cocktail hour as they transform your reception space.

The last stop on the tour was at Iwi Fresh Garden Day Spa. Iwi stands for ‘it is what it is’. They provide a fabulous spa experience for your skin, hair and nails..and get this..they only use organic products made by the owner, Yolanda Owens. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to snap any pictures here because I was too busy chatting with Yolanda about making an appointment. But, I will definitely do a separate post on her location in the near future after experiencing it for myself.
I must say this was definitely a fun & different wedding show experience! I really enjoyed mingling and meeting the different vendors and talking with the other attendees. And from what I hear this will not be the last. So stayed tuned for the next bridal stroll!! Don’t worry you know I’ve got you covered with the deets.
*All pictures were taken on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Oneday I will invest in a real camera lol. Links for all vendors are above the pics if you want a better quality.
