There are many aspects that bring your wedding style together beyond the dress, such as shoes and let’s not forget your wedding accesories. One thing I like about blogging is that many people read the blog from all over and find inspiration. I am pleased to see I have many readers over the pond! Today, I have Minihaha from Brachetto Weddings, a UK based wedding & event planning service discussing her new and stylish bridal jewelry line.
Hello Danielle. I am a UK based Wedding & Events planner. I absolutely enjoy the creativity and tenacity that derives from wedding planning. Having have said that I noticed a demand for dramatic headpieces and immediately jumped on the idea of launching a bridal jewellery line. M by Minihaha is a new bridal jewellery line for your modern and luxurious bride. The line consists of Asian inspired headpieces as well as elegant earrings and necklaces.
CBB: What makes your jewelry line different from other bridal jewelry?
M by Minihaha boasts that our manufacturer has been in business for 29 years which gives us credibility. Our unique value is our perfectionism as well as creativity. I am inspired by culture and will communicate this through my headpiece designs. Most of my pieces especially the signature pieces which will launch end of next year are Asian bridal inspired. I feel that the current market is somewhat limited to tiaras and hair combs. I wanted to provide jewellery that is unique with a hint of culture.
I wanted to launch with a small exclusive collection to introduce M by Minihaha to the industry. I really felt that my vision for M by Minihaha should be consistent within our branding i.e. top of the line packaging.
CBB: What is the design process like for your line?
I currently have an illustrator who draws my vision on paper, then I have to transfer all those designs onto a CAD software such as AutoCAD. Once I have my designs on a software, I then submit them to the manufacturing company who will make the designs for me. Currently, custom designs will typically take between 10 to 15 weeks to create with a minimum order quantity of 300 pieces per style.
CBB: Do you provide custom designs for brides?
This is something I would love to exclusively offer to my brides, I want to be able to create something unique but I won’t be able to offer that right away. As mentioned before, custom designs will typically take between 10 to 15 weeks to create and there will be a minimum order quantity of 300 pieces per style from our manufacturer. It wouldn’t make business sense to do this, so I can only hope and pray that my creativity will attract a momentum of brides. As a matter of fact, I have no doubt that it will. We have had a great reaction from our sneak peeks already. This has definitely inspired and humbled me.
CBB: What’s next for your company?
OO dear!!! The world is my oyster and I just simply do not know what GOD has in store for my company. I mean, a year ago I did not know that I would launch a bridal jewelry line. If someone had brought the idea to me; I most probably would have dismissed it. I have however been thinking about designing a flower girl and mini-bride range. You just wait and see, Ha Ha Ha.
