Welcome back to another Wedding Wednesday! Today, we have the sweet Georgia wedding of Oj & Lori Flowers. I’ve been following Lori’s journey to marriage over on Instagram and I was delighted when she agreed to share her big day with us today. Before even viewing her pictures I could tell based on her character that her wedding was definitely going to be nothing short of elegant. Read on below about the big day and be inspired by the photos below.
From the Bride:
Garden Glam was the overall theme for our May 16, 2015 early afternoon wedding. Although the wedding was inside, we wanted a venue that offered beautiful surroundings to capture the theme of our last name Flowers. The color theme was blush, gold and beige. The bridesmaid dresses were blush and the Groomsmen opted for custom tan suits with beige shirts and blush bowties to pick up the bridesmaid dresses. The décor inside the venue was very airy and light with white rose petals down the aisle and white tulle with lights on the end of each pew. During our ceremony, we incorporated the Unity Cross which signifies the joining of a bride and groom together as one. Since we had a high noon wedding, we offered our guests a light lunch buffet with champagne and plenty of cake. I personally wasn’t sure about having a noon wedding, but I think it definitely worked for us. Not only was it a gorgeous day, but by 4pm, we were married and out of town guests were able to enjoy the city and have their time to explore. Some special touches we added to the day included a customized step n repeat for guests to take pictures in front of and each of our 175 guests received a long stem artificial flower with the tag line, “Flowers for life became husband and wife”. They waved them at us as we drove away. #Flowers4Life
