There’s nothing like a classic wedding! Especially when you’re able to infuse your own personal touches into it. Today’s wedding did just that, and here’s something you can’t see from the pictures: It was important for the bride, Tamara to include her grandfather’s wishes for the music selection. Having had conducted major orchestras in the US and across Europe, clearly he knew good music. In fact, he was the first African-American to conduct a major orchestra below the Mason Dixon line, when he was asked to conduct the Louisville Symphony in 1953. With a story like that we only wish we could have been there to hear the music in person, but for now we’ll hum along to the pictures below.
