When this chic intimate wedding hit my inbox, I was soooo elated! I’m loving that I’m getting more courthouse weddings and that you guys are doing things your way. One thing I always want to be known is that whether you have 2 or 200 people at your wedding what matters most is that the two of you show up and take your vows seriously. Toussaint and Yoofi were definitely a site to see on their wedding day. And just because they went to the courthouse they didn’t skimp on the photography or even cake. These two made sure to make their wedding day their own. See below and get inspired!
From the Photographer:
With a name like Toussaint Blue, how could she not have a chic colorful wedding? Toussaint chose a lovely blush color for her wedding dress because she did not want to wear white or ivory on her day. Both she and her husband love the way pink looks on her skin and she decided to go with it and she was so glad she did because she couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. She met her groom, a London transplant, Yoofi Derby in New York and after a steady romance, they decided to get married their way! From her preserved bouquet to the heirlooms and vintage accessories she wore, Toussaint was a vision in blush and gold! Yoofi, complimented her color with his cranberry custom made suit. The wedding was small and intimate but so full of emotion and the reception which was held in a vintage lounge in Newark was so sophisticated! This wedding was the smallest, but easily my favorite.”
