Welcome back to another Wedding Wednesday here on the blog. I was smitten with Jerven & Ashley from the moment their wedding pictures came across my desk. I reviewed their pics before reading the photographers words and ironically we both were in awe of Ashley’s smile…and then I fell in love with how Jerven patiently waited for her as she walked down the aisle. His face was priceless.
From the Photographer:
I’ve never met a bride who had a bigger smile on her wedding day. Ashley was glowing even before she stepped into her gorgeous bridal dress, that had a beautiful low back that was complemented with a waist detailed belt with a big bow. Ashley and Jerven wedded at the Toronto West Seventh-day Adventist Church. Jerven looked so proud to be marrying her and I don’t blame him! Ashley has a smile that could win just about anybody’s heart! I won’t forget how cute it was to see Jerven so eager to give his wife a kiss at the end of the ceremony. He went in for it and the pastor quickly remarked “oh no! not yet!” which made everyone laugh.
There was so much love and joy at this wedding (and luck too!). Although it was so sunny and bright in the morning, it downpoured so hard during the ceremony but then it was bright and sunny again when it had ended. It later rained again during the reception, but held up for the portraits in between! It was such a hot and humid day, but everybody looked stunning. Ashley and Jerven had fourteen bridesmaids and groomsmen by their side, dressed in gorgeous coral. We headed over to Humber Arboretum for the photos which is such a great location for wedding photos! It has such nice open space, beautiful greenery and lots of needed shade.
Ashley and Jerven wowed their guests with a beautiful and spectacular reception at Claireport Place Banquet Hall. It had lovely pink up-lighting and cute wedding favours in purple and pink gift boxes! I just love wedding receptions because this is when everyone relaxes and has a great time. Ashley and Jerven made their grand entrance with a huge boom, having blown us away with fireworks! They had their first dance as husband & wife in the middle of flower petals in the shape of a heart and dry ice that engulfed them. Loved it! It made for some pretty neat photos, that is for sure!
